Blizzard’s always enjoyed putting crossovers and cameos into a games, though a latest World of Warcraft patch facilities an undisguised parody: a Ogrewatch.
The Brawler’s Guild, a one-player plea area, is creation a lapse in patch 7.1.5, and it facilities a few suspiciously informed characters. You competence confront a separator shield-wielding, jetpack-wearing, lightning-shooting Hozen (WoW‘s monkey-like race) named… Hudson. Or a cowboy with a six-shot revolver and a High Noon ability able of dishing out 3,000,000 damage, who goes by a moniker… Dupree. (What, we were awaiting a opposite name?) And don’t forget Stuffshrew, a bomb monster with a unsound giggle and a ton of bombs.
Four other characters have been found by dataminers: Blinker (Tracer), Boarguy (Roadhog), Render (Reaper), and Steingardt (Reinhardt). So far, their abilities and appearances haven’t been determined. Fan-channel Wowhead, however, prisoner footage of a quarrel opposite Hudson, Dupree, and Stuffshrew, so if we don’t mind a few visible spoilers, we can check it out below.
From what a dataminers found, it seems that a quarrel opposite Ogrewatch will be a small opposite any time. Any 3 of a above characters will enter a locus per fight, definition that you’ll have to understanding with a somewhat opposite lineup any time. Overwatch has 23 characters as of right now, that leaves room for Blizzard to chuck even some-more parodies into a brew in a future.
Patch 7.1.5 is now undergoing contrast on a PTR. It’ll recover to a open “soon,” according to Blizzard.
