PlayStation’s central blog once again polled a readers for a Game of a Year awards, and 2017’s formula shouldn’t be surprising.
Horizon Zero Dawn claimed a bullion prize in 8 out of a eighteen categories presented: Best PS4 Game, Best Art Direction, Best Story, Best Soundtrack, Best PlayStation Console Exclusive, Best Use of PS4 Pro, Best Post-Release Content, and Best Performance by Ashly Burch as Aloy. Plus, developer Guerrilla Games took home a bullion prize for Studio of a Year.
Fortnite had a many write-in votes for Best PS4 game, many expected interjection to its Battle Royale multiplayer mode, but it couldn’t beat Call of Duty: WWII, Assassin’s Creed Origins, or Persona 5, that dull out a tip four. It took home a bullion prize for Best Multiplayer, entrance in second to Call of Duty: WWII.
Perhaps a usually difficulty that was rather startling was Most Anticipated PS4 Title, in which God of War kick out Red Dead Redemption 2. Obviously, God of War is a rarely expected pretension and a PlayStation exclusive, but Red Dead Redemption 2 would have been a theory in that category.
You can review a rest of a formula over on a PS Blog.
