C.J. Cowan—the story artistic lead for Destiny—is withdrawal Bungie after 13 years with a company.

Cowan announced his depart on Twitter, alongside a bittersweet black and white picture in front of a Bungie logo, though didn’t give a reason for leaving. His story with a Seattle association is a prolonged one, commencement behind in 2003 with Halo 2. Since then, he had acted as executive of cinematics for Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach. Cowan became the story artistic lead for Destiny after a recover of a newest expansion, The Taken King, final fall.

With Destiny 2 only around a corner, one can’t assistance though see a similarities between this and when conduct author Joe Staten left a association only before a launch of Destiny. Hopefully, we won’t see identical results this time around, where a exodus leads to a half-complete product. We’ll only have to see…

Destiny 2 is scheduled for a 2017 release.
